Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a growing Document Control delivery group.
  • Manage day-to-day distribution, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents.
  • Advise on and implement effective document numbering systems.
  • Maintain project-level revision control and status protocols.
  • Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Conject, 4Projects, Aconex, and Asite.
  • Implement and manage Master and Task Information Delivery Plans (MIDP/TIDP).
  • Co-author and maintain internal and external distribution lists/workflow groups.
  • Conduct QA/QC checks on documents and drawings.
  • Verify issued documents against MIDP/TIDP requirements.
  • Oversee issuing, transmitting, and auditing of files.
  • Manage incoming external documentation, emails, and notifications.
  • Provide in-house CDE awareness training for team members.
  • Identify documents/drawings requiring comments and notify teams.
  • Track RFIs, Early Warning Notices (EWNs), and responses; generate progress reports.
  • Conduct full project documentation audits.
  • Participate in project team meetings and briefings.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of document control experience in engineering and construction.
  • Experience working on international projects.
  • Fluent in English with strong cross-time-zone communication skills.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud, Conject, 4Projects, Asite, Aconex.
  • Familiarity with design and construction documentation.
  • Metadata management and awareness.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of document control processes, approval workflows, and version control.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint for document collaboration and storage.
  • Records management understanding and compliance awareness.
  • Strong organizational and multi-project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills across international teams.
  • Proactive attitude, independence, and initiative.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
