Senior Distillery Partnerships

The Role:

We are seeking a senior leader to own and grow Recykal's partnerships with distilleries, breweries and bottling units across the state — as the main strategic contact for alcobev manufacturers in a large, state-wide container recovery programme, accountable for partner alignment, compliance and operational coordination with government stakeholders and Recykal's internal teams.

Core Mandate

• Senior relationships with distilleries, breweries and bottling units across the state
• Manufacturer onboarding and ongoing programme compliance
• Recykal's senior representation with the State Excise Department and other state government bodies
• Building and leading the partnerships team that manages the manufacturer portfolio

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Management

• Build long-term ties with partner leadership teams
• Act as the senior escalation point for manufacturer matters
• Develop engagement plans for each partner

Programme Onboarding and Compliance

• Lead onboarding, including agreements, labelling and system integration
• Ensure adherence to programme guidelines and reporting standards
• Track compliance, flag risks and drive corrective action

Government and Regulatory Liaison

• Work closely with the State Excise Department and state government bodies
• Represent Recykal in forums and stakeholder reviews
• Translate regulatory changes into clear action steps

Operational Coordination

• Align ops, tech, finance and logistics teams for partners
• Ensure smooth container flows, reconciliation and settlements
• Drive process improvements for partner experience

Commercial and Financial Oversight

• Lead commercial discussions, contracts and fee structures
• Ensure accurate, on-time partner settlements
• Support budgeting, forecasting and portfolio reporting

Leadership and Reporting

• Build and lead a team of relationship and account managers
• Present partner performance and compliance dashboards
• Shape Recykal's alcobev and beverage sector strategy

Success Metrics

• All target manufacturers onboarded within agreed timelines
• High partner compliance with programme guidelines and reporting
• Accurate, on-time settlements with zero unresolved disputes
• Strong, trusted relationships with State Excise and government stakeholders
• Partner escalations resolved within agreed turnaround times

Experience Required

• 15+ years of experience, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles
• Background in alcobev, beverage manufacturing, excise-linked businesses or large B2B/B2G partnerships
• An established network across distilleries, breweries and bottling units, preferably in Tamil Nadu or South India
• Hands-on experience with State Excise Departments and state-level regulatory bodies
• Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu's local geography
• Graduate in Business, Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred
• Good to have: EPR, packaging compliance or PPP exposure; fluency in Tamil
