ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director to lead and scale our Software Development & Digital Engineering practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud-Native Technologies, along with proven expertise in global delivery leadership, practice development, client engagement, and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Practice Leadership: Build and scale software engineering capabilities, define technology strategy, and drive practice growth.
Delivery Excellence: Lead large-scale global engineering engagements, ensuring delivery quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Technology Leadership: Drive Java-based enterprise development, microservices, cloud-native architecture, application modernization, and DevOps practices.
AI & Innovation: Champion GenAI, AI-assisted development, and automation to improve engineering productivity and delivery efficiency.
Client & Business Growth: Strengthen strategic client relationships, support presales and solutioning, and drive account expansion and revenue growth.
People & P&L Management: Lead global engineering teams, develop future leaders, and manage delivery margins, utilization, and financial performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

20+ years in Software Development / Digital Engineering, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
Strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise architecture.
Proven experience in building and scaling Java engineering practices and managing large global delivery teams.
Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP, cloud-native development, DevOps, CI/CD, and application modernization.
Experience leveraging GenAI and AI-assisted software development to improve engineering outcomes.
Strong track record in global delivery, client management, presales, business growth, and P&L ownership.
Domain experience in BFSI, Retail, or Energy & Utilities.
Excellent strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
