About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Director & Lead SEO to lead the organic growth strategy for a fast-growing hospitality platform. This role will own the end-to-end organic acquisition funnel, driving high-intent traffic, hotel bookings, and revenue through search.

The ideal candidate will have experience scaling SEO for large B2C platforms in hospitality, travel, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses, with strong expertise in technical SEO, programmatic landing pages, and location-based search optimization.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Content, and Growth teams to build scalable organic growth engines and improve discoverability across key search channels.

What You'll Do

Organic Growth Strategy

  • Define and lead the overall SEO strategy to drive sustainable organic traffic, hotel bookings, and revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities across location-based, transactional, and long-tail search queries.
  • Build scalable frameworks for city pages, hotel listing pages, and category landing pages.

Technical SEO Leadership

  • Strengthen technical SEO foundations including Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawl efficiency, and site architecture.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to implement large-scale SEO improvements.

Programmatic & Landing Page SEO

  • Oversee and optimize large volumes of dynamic landing pages based on cities, locations, hotel categories, and seasonal demand.
  • Build scalable programmatic SEO frameworks to expand keyword coverage and improve discoverability.

Keyword & Content Strategy

  • Lead advanced keyword research and search intent analysis.
  • Work with content teams to build SEO-driven landing pages and scalable content strategies.

AI Search Optimization (AEO & GEO)

  • Develop strategies for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to improve visibility in featured snippets, voice search, and AI-generated answers.
  • Implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve discoverability in AI-powered search environments.

Performance & Analytics

  • Track SEO performance across organic sessions, keyword rankings, conversions, and booking revenue.
  • Generate insights using Google Search Console, GA4, and enterprise SEO tools.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content, and Growth teams to scale organic acquisition.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of SEO analysts and content strategists.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 68 years of SEO experience, with a strong track record of scaling organic growth for large B2C platforms.
  • Experience in hospitality, travel, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses preferred.
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, programmatic SEO, and large-scale website optimization.
  • Experience optimizing location-based search pages (city, area, landmark-based searches) will be strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with key tools including:
  • SEMrush / Ahrefs
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Screaming Frog or similar technical SEO tools
  • Strong understanding of search algorithms, indexing, crawling, and site architecture.
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams to implement SEO initiatives.
