Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Head with a strong background in the healthcare industry and extensive expertise in managing large-scale technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing Agile methodologies, and leading diverse teams to achieve project excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage a team of over 200 members across various projects/accounts, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Take ownership of Delivery Excellence and Project Governance, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Drive fulfillment and staffing for new positions, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet project demands.
- Prepare risk management plans, execute risk mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk list.
- Handle customer escalations effectively, aiming for minimal or zero escalations.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to delivery managers, project managers, and project team members.
- Engage and motivate project teams to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Maintain project and account-level attrition rates in line with company goals.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the software field, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry.
- Strong technology background in Open Source/Java projects.
- Extensive experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent TA-People management skills, with experience managing Delivery Managers.
- Strong Communication Skills, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to implement engineering best practices and suggest process improvements.
- Responsible for revenues, gross margin (GM), engineer utilization, and client happiness.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects with a revenue of over $25 million.
- Experience in leading large teams and managing complex project portfolios.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile certifications) are a plus.
