Role Overview
Cat Digital is seeking a
Senior Product Owner to lead the strategy and delivery of an
enterprise integration platform that connects dealer systems, ERP platforms, and digital products across Caterpillar's global ecosystem.
This role owns the
product vision, roadmap, and execution for a high‑scale integration service that enables APIs, event‑driven integrations, and data sharing at enterprise scale. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable integration capabilities.
What You Will Do
Own the Product Vision
- Define and execute the roadmap for an enterprise‑grade integration platform.
- Translate business and technical needs into clear product outcomes.
- Balance platform scalability, reliability, and speed of delivery.
Drive Delivery Excellence
- Own and prioritize the product backlog across multiple integration initiatives.
- Define clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Partner with engineering to ensure quality, reliability, and operational readiness.
Lead Through Influence
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, engineering, data, and IT.
- Act as the voice of the customer and platform users.
- Influence architectural and delivery decisions without direct authority.
Enable Platform Governance
- Drive consistent integration standards and patterns.
- Reduce technical fragmentation and promote reuse.
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance expectations are met.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management.
- Strong experience with platform products, integrations, APIs, or distributed systems.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering and architecture teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise platforms, ERP ecosystems, or large‑scale integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based integration architectures.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or dealer‑centric environments.
