Job title: Senior Digital Marketing Analyst

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Reporting to: Manager - Analytics

What you'll do:

Drive data-backed decisions through insights, experimentation, and customer journey optimization. Improve efficiency with automation and strong martech practices. Present clear, impactful insights that connect metrics to revenue and ROI.

1. Strategic Analysis & Actionable Insights (Primary Focus)

  • The Why behind the data: Go beyond descriptive reporting (CPA is up) to diagnostic and prescriptive analysis (CPA is up because of X; we should adjust Y).
  • Customer Journey Mapping: Analyze touchpoints across the funnel (from impression to LTV) to recommend budget allocation shifts that maximize profitability.
  • Experimentation: Design, monitor, and analyze robust A/B tests (ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies) and present findings to leadership with clear recommendations.

2. Martech & Process Automation

  • Workflow Optimization: Identify manual, repetitive reporting tasks and implement automated solutions (using low-code tools, scripts, or existing API connectors) to save team time.
  • Platform Mastery: Utilize your deep understanding of Ad Platform APIs (Google Ads, Meta) to know what data is accessible and define requirements for the data engineering team if deep extraction is needed.
  • Attribution: Champion the correct use of attribution models to ensure we are valuing upper-funnel and lower-funnel activities correctly.

3. Data Visualization & Storytelling

  • Build clear, executive-level dashboards that tell a story rather than just displaying numbers.
  • Present weekly/monthly business reviews (MBR/QBR) to stakeholders, translating technical metrics into business impact (Revenue, Profit, ROI).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in Digital Marketing Analytics or Performance Marketing.
  • Business Acumen: A strong ability to translate data anomalies into business opportunities. You understand the P&L, margins, and how marketing inputs affect the bottom line.
  • Technical Fluency (The Edge):
  • Martech: Deep familiarity with the limitations and capabilities of platforms like GA4, Google Ads, and Meta Business Manager.
  • APIs: You understand how APIs work conceptually (e.g., what data points can be pulled via API vs. UI) and can troubleshoot basic data flow issues.
  • SQL: Intermediate proficiency (ability to query data for ad-hoc analysis without relying on engineers for every single request).
  • Visualization: Excellence in Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio, with a focus on UX/UI design of the dashboard.
