About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to help design, build, and maintain the cloud foundations that power our modern applications.

In this role, you'll work on scalable Azure PaaS environments, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, and manage a shared IaC repository supporting consistent, secure, and automated deployments.

You'll play a key role in maturing our cloud ecosystem using Azure Landing Zones, Subscription Vending, and the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) to ensure operational excellence and governance at scale.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Bicep, Azure DevOps, and IaC best practices.
• Develop and manage shared IaC modules for reuse across multiple teams and environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated deployments of infrastructure and applications.
• Implement and support Azure Landing Zones to standardize network, identity, and governance patterns.
• Configure and manage networking components — including VNETs, peering, hub-and-spoke topologies, and firewalls.
• Collaborate with security, network, and platform teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Support Subscription Vending processes and automate provisioning aligned with the Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources, pipelines, and deployments for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Stay current with Azure DevOps, IaC, and cloud engineering best practices to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Azure environments.
• Deep understanding of Azure architecture, PaaS services, networking, and governance.
• Hands-on expertise with Bicep, ARM templates, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
• Proven ability to manage and scale shared IaC repositories for multi-team environments.
• Experience implementing Azure Landing Zones and applying the Cloud Adoption Framework principles.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards) and Git.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts including routing, VNET peering, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication and documentation skills.

Must Have Skills:

• Azure Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/ARM)
• Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
• Networking (VNETs, Peering, Hub & Spoke, Firewalls, Private Endpoints)
• Azure PaaS Services (App Services, AKS, Functions, Logic Apps)
• Scripting (PowerShell or Python)

Nice to have Skills:

• Familiarity with Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Security Center.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).
• Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS) or containerized workloads in Azure.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and governance automation.
• Azure Landing Zones and Subscription Vending (good to have)

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) (optional but highly relevant)
