Job Description

• We are urgently hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitHub-based DevOps automation for our dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad, Telangana.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation using GitHub and related DevOps tools. This role requires hands-on problem-solving skills, strong collaboration with development and QA teams, and the ability to maintain high-quality infrastructure standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Provisioning, maintenance and upgrade of SaaS infrastructure and applications on Azure.
• User access review for the Cloud environments.
• Review the security for the Cloud environments.
• Co-ordinate with SecOps team to secure the Cloud environments.
• Review the Cloud infrastructure utilization and apply recommendations for cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot the application and infrastructure issues for non prod and Prod environments.
• Create knowledge documents.
• Enhance the environment provisioning automation for faster turnarounds.
• Monitor infrastructure and application health using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and security teams to streamline release cycles.
• Implement security best practices in GitHub workflows, including secret management and vulnerability scanning.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues, environment inconsistencies, and deployment failures in real time.
• Maintain detailed documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git-based workflows for automation.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS certification preferred).
• Strong experience with Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, and system security.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of experience working with Unix systems.
• 7+ years of experience working in Shell scripting, python etc.
• 7+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes and Azure.
• 7+ years of experience working with Elasticsearch and mysql.
• 7+ years of knowledge on Terraform, Github Actions and Ansible.
• Knowledge on ITIL.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Good documentation skills.
