Motorinc is looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer / Team Manager with a minimum of 7+ years of experience to help streamline our development and operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and automation, with proven experience in leading DevOps initiatives.
As a senior/manager-level hire, you will play a key role in:
- Leading and mentoring junior DevOps engineers.
- Driving best practices across CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure
- Ensuring collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams
- Taking ownership of scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure
You will be at the forefront of building, and evolving Motorinc's DevOps culture, empowering teams with the right tools, processes, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering growth
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Manage and configure cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and availability
- Collaborate with development teams to optimise code delivery and ensure smooth deployments
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to guarantee system reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in production and staging environments
- Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and application deployment processes
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to DevOps processes, workflows, and tools
- Work with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline deployments
- Champion and promote Agile/DevOps culture, bridging the gap between Dev, QA, and Ops teams
