TechOps Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled TechOps Engineer with a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience with various monitoring systems, cloud technologies, and database management, ensuring the availability and recoverability of production systems.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage ITIL processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize monitoring systems such as Dynatrace, Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, and GCP Operation Suite to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Manage and optimize cloud environments, specifically in Azure and GCP.
- Administer and maintain Couchbase Database, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard production systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD workflows using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Utilize infrastructure automation tools to streamline operations.
- Manage secrets and secure access using HashiCorp Vault.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle to ensure operational readiness.
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
Mandatory Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with monitoring systems (Dynatrace, Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, GCP Operation Suite).
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Couchbase Database, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with Devsecops practices and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
- Understanding of the Secure SDLC.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Kubernetes basics).
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Key Vault (for Certificate Management)).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a TechOps or similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
