Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless build, testing, and deployment processes
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using modern observability and monitoring solutions
- Implement DevSecOps best practices to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure and deployment workflows
- Identify and execute cost optimization strategies across existing and new cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment processes, automation, and environment consistency
- Utilize modern and AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency, automation, and issue resolution
- Continuously assess and adopt new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve DevOps maturity
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Linux systems, including troubleshooting, process management, and shell scripting
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or similar
- Solid understanding of networking and cloud security concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and access control mechanisms
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git), including branching strategies and repository management
- Working knowledge of database systems, including deployment, performance tuning, and backup/recovery (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization and deployment of applications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Datadog, Prometheus, or similar
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure infrastructure practices
- Familiarity with AI-assisted DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot, Harness, or similar
Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Exposure to MLOps practices and tools
