As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the deployment, automation, and operational health of Lillyapplications. You will ensure pipeline reliability, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to maintain robust, secure, and scalable systems. Oversee and support DevOps activities for all applications deployed, ensuring smooth, reliable, and secure operations.u00A0
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, intervening and resolving issues as needed.u00A0
Guide and collaborate with internal application teams to deploy solutions on the cloud platform.u00A0
Improve and maintain reusable pipeline templates and patterns for automated deployment of cloud infrastructure and code.u00A0
Develop and support high-quality automation workflows for software development and deployment processes.u00A0
Build and maintain continuous automation frameworks for software delivery.u00A0
Monitor and troubleshoot the software delivery process, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.u00A0
Stay up to date on the latest DevSecOps practices and technologies.u00A0
Communicate platform health, risks, and issues to program partners, stakeholders, and management teams.u00A0
Resolve prioritisation and scope conflicts independently, escalating complex issues to senior management.u00A0
Assist in bridging skillsets and facilitate knowledge sharing across the development team.u00A0
Develop secure, quality code and associated tests.u00A0
Perform code reviews and participate in pair programming sessions.u00A0

Proven experience leading DevOps activities in a complex, cloud-native environment.u00A0
Deep expertise in AWS cloud platform and having certifications (DevOps) is a significant advantage and will be highly valued for this role.u00A0
Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and distributed systems.u00A0
Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Go, or similar).u00A0
Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes at scale).u00A0
Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.).u00A0
Expertise with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana Loki, Datadog, Splunk).u00A0
Experience with DevOps practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, blameless postmortems).u00A0
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimisation skills.u00A0
Experience with security engineering, IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning is a plus.u00A0
Exposure to cloud cost optimisation strategies is desirable.u00A0
Experience mentoring and developing engineers.u00A0

Basic Qualifications and Experience Requirement:u00A0
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.u00A0
5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud-native environments and automation.u00A0
Strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and container-based technologies.u00A0
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm Charts, Terraform, Artifactory/JFROG, etc.).u00A0
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).u00A0
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and willingness to upskill as adoption grows.u00A0
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).u00A0
Hands-on developer knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and associated technologies.u00A0
Experience developing scripts or automating tasks using Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.u00A0
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.u00A0
Experience working with Git and modern software development practices (Testing, Code Reviews, Code Coherence).u00A0
