Your Role And Responsibilities
We are looking for enthusiastic & self-motivated DevOps Engineers to join the IBM Consulting Advantage (ICA) Asset Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations from development to deployment by automating processes, building CI/CD pipelines, building & managing monitoring tools, and collaborating with teams to improve reliability, security, and efficiency.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps role, with deep understanding of Cloud technologies, Microservices Architecture, and Container orchestration tools
- Hands-on expertise with DevOps tools (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Redhat OpenShift, Helm charts, Operators, Istio) and CI/CD tools (Tekton, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Proficiency in a modern programming language (NodeJS, Python, GO, Java) and Linux/shell scripting
- Expertise in designing and building infrastructure to support software applications and services
- Experience managing production-grade SaaS environments and defining best practices for system configuration, health monitoring, and performance optimization
- Proven ability to manage the platform's lifecycle, including installs, upgrades, patching, and retirement
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud services and management, with expertise in deploying and scaling applications in a cloud environment
- Hands-on experience using cloud-native systems for monitoring and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Instana)
- Strong foundation in Linux internals, including system calls, file systems, and kernel debugging
- Understanding of networking principles and protocols
