What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions on AWS.
- Oversee production infrastructure to ensure its availability and performance.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, particularly Amazon EKS, for effective production workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to effectively deploy microservices-based applications.
- Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure efficient Kubernetes deployments, including upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Design and manage AWS networking components like VPCs and load balancers.
- Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines for stable production deployments.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Proven expertise with AWS and handling production cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience managing Kubernetes, notably Amazon EKS.
- Deep technical understanding of microservices architectures and containerization.
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals including DNS and load balancing.
- Experience with Linux and system administration practices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment automation strategies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, or similar orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with a range of AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Experience with Kubernetes autoscaling solutions like Karpenter.
- Background in high-scale e-commerce or tech-focused environments.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed system challenges in production.
