You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
Design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP using services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and more.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and release management of cloud applications.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance on the cloud platform.
Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of cloud services.
Continuously improve DevOps processes and practices, implementing industry best practices and leveraging GCP native tools and services.
Provide technical guidance and support to teams for efficient utilization of GCP DevOps tools and services.
Desired Skills:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4 plus years of strong experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and related technologies.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
Excellent scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
