Senior DevOps Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Python/shell scripting.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Kops/EKS).
• Work with Helm charts for application deployments and manage service mesh using Istio.
• Monitor infrastructure, ensure high availability, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Support and maintain existing lab and production infrastructure using defined ticketing and resource scheduling processes.
• Participate in evaluating new and existing server and cloud infrastructure capabilities to meet application and service requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application needs and scaling requirements.
• Maintain documentation for deployments, automation scripts, and operational processes.
