Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving automation, optimizing deployment workflows, and enabling seamless delivery across multiple environments. Experience working with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and DBT for data pipeline automation and integration is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for diverse applications (microservices, web, and APIs).
Lead automation initiatives to streamline build, release, and deployment processes across development and production environments.
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, automated, and secure delivery.
Integrate code quality, testing, and security tools (SonarQube, OWASP, etc.) into CI/CD workflows.
Manage and monitor Azure services such as App Service, AKS, ACR, Key Vault, and Azure Functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex build and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Build, orchestrate, and automate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Integrate DBT workflows into CI/CD pipelines to support data transformation automation and version-controlled data modeling.
Required Skills and Experience 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years in the Azure DevOps ecosystem.
Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation, release orchestration, and environment automation using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines).
Strong experience with source control (Git/GitHub/Azure Repos) and branching strategies.
Proven experience with IaC tools Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for containerized deployments.
Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity management, and security (Key Vault, Managed Identities, RBAC).
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, artifact management, and continuous monitoring.
Experience with blue-green, canary, or multi-stage deployment strategies.
Experience working with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data orchestration and pipeline automation.
Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation, modeling, and integration within CI/CD processes.
Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with GitOps, Helm charts, and service mesh technologies.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates Lead the development and optimization of complex DevOps solutions.
Oversee DevOps project management and execution.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers.
Ensure DevOps solutions align with organizational goals.
Provide strategic guidance on DevOps technologies.
