Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Pakistan.

About the role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Take part in the transformation of game shows and reality TV by removing traditional barriers to entry and enabling anyone to participate from anywhere. Platform turns passive mobile viewers into active, engaged players through a real-time, large-scale, and monetized interactive entertainment network.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS architectures at scale. Contribute to the overall cloud strategy and roadmap
- Build complex CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management for large-scale applications
- Proactively analyze infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for cost and efficiency
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system-wide issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures
- Design and enforce secure infrastructure patterns, conduct security audits, and drive security initiatives
- Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and share best practices within the organization
- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and AWS services, evaluating their potential impact and driving adoption
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant AWS experience
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AWS solutions
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and design patterns
- Excellent skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and architect robust solutions
- Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable:
- Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Programming and Scripting: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Robust Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design and network security
- Security Focus: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
