Job Title - Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Job Location - Pune, Maharashtra
Position Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, automate, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms supporting our clients products. Working closely with Engineering, QA, Security, and IT teams, you will improve platform reliability, developer productivity, security, observability, and cost efficiency while contributing to platform engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build, deploy, and operate Kubernetes-based workloads (EKS preferred).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and centralized logging solutions.
- Participate in production incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience.
- Implement cloud security best practices and support compliance initiatives.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred).
- Strong experience with Terraform.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
- Good scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK, or similar observability platforms.
- Understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, Load Balancers, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Nomad and Consul.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Experience with Click House, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with HashiCorp tools.
- Experience with cloud security, compliance, or FinOps.
