Senior DevOps Engineer

Platform Engineering | AWS | Kubernetes | Multi-Region Infrastructure

Location: Mumbai | Experience: 8–12 Years

Role Overview

Neve Jewels System is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead its AWS infrastructure transformation, including migration from Linode/DigitalOcean to AWS and the development of a cloud-native, multi-region platform across the US, EU, India, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
  • Build and operate Amazon EKS, MSK (Kafka), Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, and networking services.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux).
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, security, IAM, networking, and observability.
  • Lead AWS DMS database migrations with zero downtime and data loss.
  • Implement monitoring, incident response, governance, and cost optimization practices.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering leaders on platform strategy.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, MSK, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, DMS).
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitOps, and Terraform.
  • Experience with Kafka/MSK, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of multi-region architectures, networking, and observability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect certification.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, or cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of MACH architecture, Karpenter, FinOps, and AWS DMS.
