The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS to design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role focuses on building robust CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, containerizing applications with Docker, and orchestrating them via Kubernetes (preferably EKS).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and EKS, along with proficiency in Python for automation and SQL-based systems for data integration. You will play a key role in implementing infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform), ensuring system reliability, security, and high availability.
Exposure to observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, along with experience in microservices architecture, will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Manage and scale infrastructure on AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Lambda)
Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
Develop automation scripts in Python
Work with SQL-based data systems for pipeline integration and analytics workflows
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices (Terraform preferred)
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems
Must-Have Skills
Strong AWS experience
CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Docker + Kubernetes (EKS is a plus)
Python scripting
SQL (Postgres/MySQL/Aurora)
Nice To Have Skills
Terraform / CloudFormation
Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
Experience with microservices architecture
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Work Timings
High degree of overlap with EST Time zone (3 PM to 12 AM IST)
