Senior Devops Engineer,

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA, WebLogic, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will drive DevOps strategy, manage system integrations, and ensure continuous integration, deployment, and operations for high-throughput production applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Middleware & Infrastructure Management:

• Administer Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA 10G/11G, and WebLogic environments.
• Handle multiple PIPs and their integrations efficiently.
• Provide system administration support including Unix networking and Java applications.

DevOps & Automation:

• Drive the DevOps process strategy and implementation across engineering teams.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Implement configuration management using tools such as Chef.
• Automate tasks using Unix shell scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Perl, Python).

Monitoring & Performance:

• Use Splunk for log monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support high-throughput production applications.
• Monitor and tune application performance and infrastructure.

Cloud & Emerging Tech:

• Manage cloud environments including AWS and VMware ESX.
• Good to have exposure to SiteScope monitoring and UI technologies (e.g., Bootstrap).
• Comfortable writing Java code when necessary for automation or integration tasks.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
• Accurately estimate efforts, manage priorities, and provide status updates.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members when needed.
