Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align goals and optimize workflows.
• Use tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef to manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices, including vulnerability management.
• Diagnose and resolve system and application issues in real time.
• Monitor and optimize resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and high availability.
• Maintain detailed documentation for processes, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in DevOps or a related role.
• + years of Working proficiency with AWS Cloud
• Experience with creating and setting up Github Actions
• 7+ years plus experience working on Kubernetes based Containers Orchestration Platforms - Openshift preferred
• 7 years plus experience working with Infrastructure as Code Terraform
• Working proficiency with programming languages - Node.js, golang preferred
• Experience setting up or integration with Observability tools (Includes Monitoring, Logging, Synthetic Tests) like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk. Datadog preferred
• Experience with troubleshooting on public cloud infrastructure ( AWS preferred)
• Working Knowledge of Postgresql Databases and Cache Engines
• 7 years plus Experience with Traffic management and routing - F5 setup experience or working proficiency desired

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)
• Knowledge of Istio Service mesh is a plus
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
• Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
