RootRace Software Solutions is looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a client-facing contract engagement. This role demands a hands-on infrastructure professional capable of architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available production environments.
Engagement Structure
- Experience Required: Minimum 6+ years in DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure
- Contract-based engagement
- 1-month paid probation period
- Upon successful completion, 11-month formal contract
- Work Mode: Remote
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (IST)
- Payment Cycle: Monthly

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration environments
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems
- Enforce infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enable efficient release cycles
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments
Required Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking, security architecture, and best practices
