Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 5+ years of dedicated DevOps experience with a strong focus on Kubernetes, automated testing, and observability in a telecommunications or high-performance environment.
Proficiency in the specified technologies:
CI/CD, C++, Java, any major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
CI/CD and Quality Automation
Mandatory CI/CD Pipeline: Designing, implementing, and managing the core pipeline to enforce quality from a Continuous Confident Change perspective, running on every Pull Request.
Advanced Test Automation: Implementing automated Unit, Integration, and Characterization Testing (Golden Master Testing) to guarantee functional parity between C++ and new Java logic.
Quality Gate Enforcement: Configuring the pipeline to enforce strict gates, including a 100% golden master match and a constraint of less than 10% performance regression.
Configuration Management (CM): Delivering a streamlined, automated CM process & system to support accelerated timelines and a consistent deploy anywhere capability.
Cloud-Native Deployment & Scaling
Kubernetes Implementation: Hands-on experience with defining and managing key Kubernetes resources: Deployment (ntr-deployment) and Service (ntr-service).
Horizontal Scaling Setup: Configuring and managing the Auto-Scaling Configuration based on traffic thresholds to support the CNF architecture.
Lifecycle Management: Implementing Health Probes (Liveness/Readiness) and defining the Graceful Shutdown Sequence to ensure high availability and minimal service disruption.
Observability and Monitoring
Full Observability Stack: Deep experience implementing all three pillars: Metrics Export, Distributed Tracing, and Structured Logging.
Monitoring Tools: Implementing tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana or similar) to ensure the new platform is reliable and performant.
Security and Infrastructure
Security Integration: Implementing cloud-native security measures, specifically Secrets Management and Network Policies.
Distributed Cache Infrastructure: Managing and configuring Redis-compatible services (e.g., AWS ElastiCache, Azure Cache, GCP Memorystore) to support the two-tier cache architecture.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools for automating the provisioning of all cloud infrastructure and dependencies.
Additional Experience Desired:
Advanced certifications related to DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and Kubernetes, validating specialized skills and knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts based on business impact, highlighting strategic planning and project management skills.
Proven experience in providing accurate status tracking and reporting, ensuring transparency and effective communication within and across teams.
Capability to estimate testing and deployment efforts accurately, showcasing an understanding of project scope and timelines.
