Role Overview
The Senior Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or
- 6 - 9 years of experience in BI development, with at least 4+ years in Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), SQL (complex queries, stored procedures)
- Data modeling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modeling)
- Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, sharing, RLS).
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory) is a strong plus.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and modern data platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate with business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and storytelling with data.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirement‑gathering skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead BI initiatives.
