Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive performance test plans
- Execute load, stress, and endurance testing to assess application performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights on performance improvements
- Conduct monthly performance runs to monitor and ensure no degradation in application performance
- Create and manage performance metrics dashboards for reporting and analysis
- Lead performance testing initiatives and provide mentorship to junior team members
- Work independently with minimal guidance to successfully deliver on project goals
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, and endurance testing
- Proficient in using jMeter for designing, executing, and analyzing performance test scenarios
- Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending optimization strategies
- Familiarity with performance management tools and best practices (nice-to-have)
- Ability to create and maintain performance test plans and dashboards
- Experience with eCommerce and high-traffic web applications (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting test results and metrics
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and guide team members
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
