Senior Developer (MicroStrategy)

MicroStrategy Developer

Location: Remote (Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune – India Only)

Work Hours: Overlap required with Canada – EST Time

Start Date: Immediate to 15 days

Type: Long-Term Contract

Note: Dual Employment is NOT allowed – any existing dual roles must be terminated before onboarding.

Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)

SQL Expertise

Ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and handle large datasets.

MicroStrategy (MSTR) Development

Hands-on experience with newer MSTR versions, including advanced features and enhancements.

MicroStrategy Schema Development

Deep understanding of MSTR architecture, schema design (logical & physical), and best practices.

Dashboard & Dossier Development

Proven ability to create intuitive, interactive dashboards and Dossiers with strong data visualization standards.

Report Development & Data Modeling

Skilled in building reports using attributes, facts, metrics, hierarchies, and delivering efficient analytics.

Performance Optimization

Proficient in optimizing dashboards/reports using caching, aggregation, and tuning techniques.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Strong experience working directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Data Warehousing Knowledge

Understanding of data modeling, ETL, and BI integration concepts.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written English to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills

MSTR Admin Experience

MSTR Migration Experience (including Cloud migrations)

Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)

Familiarity with ETL tools and Data Integration platforms

Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
