Senior Dev lead

will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive, easy-to-understand dashboards and reports. This role focuses on building automated reporting solutions, understanding business requirements, and delivering high-quality BI applications that support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into functional and technical specifications for reporting solutions.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Build automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Analyze data and present it in a clear format to support strategic decision-making.
• Design data models and create efficient relationships within Power BI Desktop.
• Perform DAX queries and use advanced DAX functions such as CALCULATE, FILTER, aggregation, and iterative functions.
• Develop and deploy Power BI scripts and conduct detailed data analysis.
• Identify and define KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Perform SQL querying for high-performance data extraction and transformation.
• Shape and transform data using Power Query and other ETL techniques.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL, CSV, JSON, cloud platforms, and SharePoint.
• Work with Power BI Service for report publishing, data refresh scheduling, and maintenance.
• Enhance existing BI systems by implementing technical improvements and optimizations.
• Support data warehouse development and apply database fundamentals in reporting solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Power BI visualization including bar charts, stacked charts, line charts, pie charts, area charts, slicers, tables, and matrix.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and understanding of context and context transitions.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server BI Stack including T-SQL, Power Query, and MDX.
• Strong understanding of relational and multidimensional database design.
• Experience in data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear analytical insights.
