Designation CAD/BIM Technician, Ports and Maritime, India
Job Purpose
The principal function of this role is to undertake Computer Aid Design (CAD) for drawing production for the Ports & Maritime Team.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The CAD/BIM technician will report to the Lead Engineer, GID Team, Mumbai. He/she will be required to self-check his/her work and ensure the flawless drawings prepared are as per company standards.
- Drawing production for the Ports and Maritime Team
- Preparation of coastal engineering drawings
- Preparation of Marine structure drawings
- Potential support with preparing drawings related to utilities and roads preferable
- Estimating quantities from drawings
Here's what you'll need
Requirements/Qualifications/Experience
- Greater than 5 years experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Project wise platform, MicroStation and BIM 360 is necessary
- Should be proficient in use of AutoCAD software.
- Experience Either Revit or Civil 3D is also required
- Marine works experience is required
- Experience with reinforced concrete detailing
- Experience with structural steel drawings
- Good communications skills
- Willing to learn and develop.
