Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Designer - Civil and Structural with offshore experience in the revamp projects.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility of engineering of the assigned structures / foundation as civil designer
- Model as per inputs and extract / check General Arrangement and Detail Drawings
- Report to the Lead Civil Designer / Lead Civil Engineer
- Coordinate with other disciplines and projects
- Meet the project schedules on submissions of Civil deliverables
- Ensure all deliverables comply with quality as per Wood / Client specifications and standards
- Interpret vendor drawings / other discipline drawings for Civil and structural deliverables requirements
Qualifications
- Trade Certificate of Industrial Training Institute in Civil Draughtsman/Mechanical Draughtsman (Essential)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (Desirable)
- Exposure to Offshore Structural Detailing (Essential)
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in Civil & Structural Engineering Design Environment (Essential) and exposure to Offshore-Structural Detailing.
- Ability to check Engineering Design deliverables in a multi-discipline task force based engineering design environment (Desirable)
- Experience in FEED or EPC Engineering design in Project execution (Desirable).
