Senior Designer -Knits ( Kidswear -Apparel & Graphics )

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, technically strong Senior Kidswear Apparel & Graphic Designer to lead graphic development for the U.S. babywear and childrenswear markets. The role bridges traditional CAD design and 3D digital visualization, turning trend concepts into production-ready artwork and polished buyer presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend & Concept: Translate U.S. market trends and seasonal color directions into original, commercially successful graphics, capsules, and color stories across newborn, infant, toddler, and older kids categories.
• Technical Execution: Create seamless AOP repeats, accurate color separations and indexing, and detailed tech packs (dimensions, placements, scale, Pantone matching), with a sound understanding of knits, ribs, fleece, and garment construction.
• 3D Visualization: Use 3D garment tools to produce realistic digital mockups, speed up design approvals, and reduce physical sampling.
• Collaboration: Work with design, merchandising, and production teams to resolve print constraints, and manage multiple calendars and tight deadlines independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Apparel CAD, Textile, Fashion, or Graphic Design
• 5+ years of senior apparel graphic design experience with a strong U.S. retail portfolio
• Proven babywear and childrenswear experience (womenswear print experience is transferable; menswear or athletic-only backgrounds are not a fit)
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Hands-on or quick-learning ability in 3D software (CLO 3D, Browzwear, Optitex)
• Solid knowledge of print techniques: screen, rotary, digital, plastisol, high-density, puff, soft-hand, and embellishments
