Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with 45 years of hands-on experience who can independently handle design development, client coordination, and support end-to-end project execution. The ideal candidate should be confident in managing clients, guiding junior designers, and ensuring smooth coordination between design and site teams.
This role requires strong creativity, technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This position is not suitable for freshers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design concepts, layouts, and space planning as per client requirements
- Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings, 3D views, and design presentations
- Independently coordinate with clients, understand briefs, and present design proposals
- Assist and guide junior designers and interns in design development and documentation
- Support selection of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures
- Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants
- Ensure on-site execution aligns with approved designs, drawings, budgets, and timelines
- Address design-related site queries and resolve execution challenges proactively
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or related field
- 45 years of relevant interior design experience (freshers not considered)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D software
- Sound knowledge of materials, finishes, detailing, and execution processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment
