Key Responsibilities
- Modelling of field instruments such as flow, pressure, temperature, level, and F&G equipment. For the same, interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and ensure design consistency.
- Modelling of cableways e.g. cable tray, ducts, conduits.
- Work closely with process, electrical, piping, and instrument engineers to integrate instrumentation into plant design.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct 3D model reviews with clients.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) for procurement and construction
- Prepare instrumentation design deliverables including:
- Instrument location layouts - field
- Fire & Gas (F&G) equipment location layouts - field
- Instrument rack room/ control room layouts
- Hook-up drawings
- Cable routing layouts
- Installation typical, process hook-ups
- Support construction teams with technical clarifications and field modifications.
Software skills
Proficiency in following software as minimum:
- Intergraph S3D
- Model review software Smart Review
- AutoCAD/ BricksCAD
Other skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines and commitment to quality.
