We are looking for a Design Manager who is a product creator at heart - someone who thrives on bringing great ideas to life through design, collaboration, and execution. You shall possess the ability to translate creative vision into market-ready products, ensuring each product & collection aligns with consumer expectations, business goals, and brand aesthetics. This role requires a balance of creativity, process discipline, and commercial acumen. You'll serve as the central link across internal and external teams, driving each new product to meet Lenskart's benchmarks for quality, timelines, and trend relevance.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of new eyewear collections - from concept to launch
- Coordinate across internal teams (Research, Product Design, Technical Design) and external stakeholders (Sourcing, Category, Marketing, and Vendor Partners)
- Manage product timelines, approvals, and deliverables through the PLM tool, ensuring transparency and on-time execution
- Develop clear and comprehensive design briefs for the product design team, outlining project timelines, deliverables, and business objectives
- Track multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high attention to detail through all development stages
Qualifications
- Degree in Accessory Design or Design Management from a reputed institution
- 6+ years of experience with lifestyle, fashion, or consumer product retail brands
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Software proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with PLM systems or similar workflow tools
- Passionate about product design & development with a strong consumer focus
