SOLIZE India Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of SOLIZE Group, is establishing a new

Automotive Product Development Group with an initial focus on Two-Wheeler

Technologies. This group will provide product development support to Japanese and other

global manufacturing companies.

Position: Sr. Design Lead – Plastic Design (Automotive & Consumer Products)

Department: Automotive Product Development Group – Two-Wheeler

We are looking for skilled and passionate engineers to join our growing team. As a Sr.

Design Engineer or Lead, you will play a vital role in the design and development of plastic

components for 2 wheeler.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the complete product development lifecycle – from concept

to production.

• Design plastic components using CATIA (Body panels, interior/ exterior trims,

seating parts, lighting housings, etc.).

• Translate customer requirements into manufacturable, cost-effective, and highperformance designs.

• Conduct design reviews and optimize for manufacturability, performance, and cost.

• Perform engineering calculations and interpret CAE results to ensure design

integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Mentor junior engineers (for Lead roles) and contribute to team development.

• Keep up with industry trends, new materials, and production processes.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or relevant engineering disciplines.

• Minimum:

• 10 years of experience in automotive plastic design (Two-wheeler, Threewheeler, Four-wheeler)

• Strong knowledge of CATIA (3D modeling and 2D drafting).

• Understanding of design principles, tolerance analysis, and mechanical

calculations.

• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a larger project team.
