Lead power transmission design projects, including tendering, design, and type testing for transmission line towers, monopoles, substation structures, and foundations.
Develop sag-tension calculations, loading and wind load calculations, and complete tower designs as per client specifications.
Ensure compliance with design standards including IS-802, IEC-826, and ASEC standards.
Review structural analysis reports, tower loading calculations, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Coordinate detailing, drawings checking, tower testing procedures, and tower spotting.
Focus on tower weight optimization to deliver cost-effective and efficient structural solutions.
Mentor, coach, and develop junior and mid-level designers/engineers to foster technical excellence.
Take ownership of assigned work and report to the Project In-Charge or respective Team Leader.
Participate in design optimization of wind-affected structures such as masts and towers.
