Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Design Ownership

• Independently handle complex systems, assemblies, and configurations
• Take ownership of design decisions involving safety, performance, and reliability
• Resolve technically challenging design issues with minimal supervision

Design Review & Mentoring

• Review drawings, BOMs, and documentation prepared by Design Engineers and Trainees
• Provide constructive technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards across the team

Product & Application Engineering

• Apply deep understanding of IAPL products and applications to diverse customer requirements
• Anticipate application risks and propose robust engineering solutions
• Support sales, service, and manufacturing teams on complex technical queries

Manufacturing, Quality & Field Interface

• Actively incorporate feedback from manufacturing, QC, testing, and service
• Identify recurring issues and drive design improvements
• Support root cause analysis of design-related field or quality problems

Standards, Safety & Compliance

• Apply relevant codes, standards, and internal guidelines with confidence
• Ensure designs meet safety and compliance requirements without compromise
• Participate in internal audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
