Role Objective:
To perform and support geotechnical engineering design activities across infrastructure and construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in geotechnical analysis, foundation design, ground improvement, and earth retention systems, ensuring high-quality and compliant design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical design and prepare deliverables including GFC drawings, BOQs, and detailed design reports.
- Design of piling systems and ground improvement techniques (execution exposure preferred).
- Design of earth retention systems, grade slabs, roads, and paving systems.
- Apply Indian and relevant international codes and standards in design calculations and documentation.
- Review geotechnical investigation reports and interpret soil parameters for design use.
- Conduct site visits for verification of foundation systems and provide technical support during execution.
- Support documentation and coordination for approvals from relevant authorities and institutions
Qualifications:
- Education: M.E./M.Tech/PhD in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Certifications: Membership in professional bodies like ASCE/IGS/ICE (Preferred)
- Software Skills: PLAXIS, Geo5, Wallap, CADSpile, and AutoCAD.
