Senior Design Engineer - Electromechanical

Key Deliverables:

1. Design and develop innovative, cost-effective electromechanical systems for 3 Phase UPS, PDU, and ancillaries.
2. Execute thermal design and packaging of power electronics, ensuring compliance with UL/IEC/NEC standards.
3. Perform complete product lifecycle development—design, develop, test, validate, and release to manufacturing.
4. Prepare and manage engineering documentation and specifications using PLM tools like Windchill.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thermal simulations, structural analysis, and material selection for sheet metal and busbar components.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and design robustness.
3. Lead design reviews, respond to customer issues with RCA, and implement continuous improvements.
4. Optimize design parameters—cost, performance, reliability, size—adhering to Agile methodologies.
