Job Summary
Position: Senior Design Engineer (Civil &Structural) for Good Class Bungalows
Responsibilities
- Design Engineering: Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Structural Analysis: Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety.
- Code Compliance: Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs.
- Concept Design: Create structural concepts focused on economic efficiency to optimize resource use and project feasibility.
- Reporting: Report project progress and technical findings clearly to the Project Director and management.
Required Competencies and Certifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design.
- Compliance: Proficient in applying local design standards and codes throughout project execution.
- Software Skills: Proficient in engineering design software, including :Tekla Tedds Staad Plaxis Esteem Midas AutoCAD GStarCAD.
- Professional Status: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status will be considered for company equity shares.
