Senior Design Engineer

Role Summary: Lead the design and development of high-performance consumer goods (casseroles and leakproof food storage). You will be responsible for managing a team, anticipating design failures through rigorous DFMEA, and ensuring on-time delivery through creative, proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing design team; oversee resource allocation and project timelines.
• Risk Mitigation (DFMEA): Lead Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to identify and resolve potential issues before they reach production.
• Creative Troubleshooting: Proactively overcome technical bottlenecks to ensure First Time Right designs and on-time market delivery.
• Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise the end-to-end design of leakproof food storage and thermal casseroles using:
• Processes: Plastic Injection Moulding and PET Blow Moulding.
• Materials: Expert-level knowledge of PP, PET, and ABS.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 9+ years in plastic product design
• Technical Mastery: Proven track record in Injection and Blow Moulding for household/consumer goods.
• Software: Expert in 3D CAD SolidWorks
