STORE MANAGER / STYLIST / FASHION DESIGNER – INDIRANAGAR

The Ethnic Co is a luxury bespoke menswear brand specialising in Wedding, Occasion & Festive Wear, with a strong focus on Custom Design, Made-to-Measure and Extended Sizes.

We are looking for a Store Manager / Fashion Stylist / Designer / Client Consultant to take ownership of our premium Indiranagar store.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys fashion, styling, client interaction and selling, and can take a customer from understanding their requirement all the way to selecting, designing and delivering the right outfit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Consulting & Sales

• Understand customer requirements, occasion, preferences, budget and timelines.
• Consult clients on outfits, fabrics, colours, silhouettes and styling.
• Handle wedding and occasion-wear clients with a premium service mindset.
• Manage the complete sales journey — consultation, styling, measurements, order booking, alterations and delivery.
• Build long-term customer relationships and generate repeat and referral business.
• Achieve monthly store sales and conversion targets.

Fashion Styling & Design

• Style customers for weddings, receptions, sangeet, festive occasions, parties and other events.
• Recommend complete looks including Sherwanis, Indo-Westerns, Kurta Sets, Jackets, Bandhgalas, Suits, Tuxedos and accessories.
• Understand fabrics, embroidery, silhouettes, fits and garment construction.
• Work with the in-house design and production teams on customised outfits.
• Suggest design modifications based on the customer's personality, body type and occasion.
• Handle Made-to-Measure and Custom Design consultations.

Store Management

• Take day-to-day ownership of the Indiranagar store.
• Maintain the store to premium brand standards.
• Manage inventory movement, displays, trials, alterations and order tracking.
• Coordinate with the central production/factory team for timely execution and delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on leads and pending orders.
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising and presentation.
• Handle opening/closing procedures and basic store administration.

Customer Experience

• Create a highly personalised and consultative shopping experience.
• Conduct proactive follow-ups with leads and existing customers.
• Coordinate trials and ensure the final garment meets customer expectations.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
• Generate Google reviews, referrals and repeat business.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• 3–6 years of experience in premium fashion retail, men's ethnic wear, luxury fashion, wedding/occasion wear or styling.
• Strong understanding of men's fashion and styling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales orientation and ability to confidently close customers.
• Understanding of body types, fits, fabrics and garment construction.
• Experience with wedding/occasion wear is a must.
• Fashion Design / Fashion Styling / Apparel background candidates ONLY.
• Comfortable taking measurements and discussing garment construction and customisation.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the store.
• Strong attention to detail and a premium-service mindset.

WORKING DETAILS

Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru

Employment: Full-time, On-site

Working Days: 6 days a week

Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Weekends: Mandatory
