As a Senior Delivery Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
We're seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide high-performing, large-scale Agile teams (25+ members across multiple squads) in delivering complex software projects. You'll facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and scale Agile practices to handle inter-team dependencies, drawing from real-world challenges in distributed environments. This role thrives in fast-paced settings like those discussed on Reddit's r/scrum and r/agile, where mastering tools like Jira, Confluence, and frameworks such as SAFe or Nexus is key.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews for 25+ person teams, ensuring alignment across 4-6 squads
- Coach Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, resolving blockers in complex, dependency-heavy projects
- Scale Agile processes using frameworks like LeSS or SAFe for large teams; implement metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown) to track progress
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and tools like Liberating Structures, addressing common pain points like siloed communication
- Drive impediment removal at team, program, and organizational levels; collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) in enterprise settings
- Monitor and report on team health using data-driven insights; handle hybrid/remote dynamics for global teams
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and promote Agile best practices in multi-team environments
Requirements:
- 8+ years as a Scrum Master, with proven experience in complex teams of 25+ (e.g., multiple squads or programs)
- CSM/CSPO or equivalent certification; experience with scaled frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Spotify model) highly preferred
- Strong facilitation skills for large groups; expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution; comfortable in high-stakes, ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and metrics for large-scale delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Desirable:
- Experience in tech-heavy industries (e.g., fintech, data engineering) with distributed teams
- Knowledge of Reddit-sourced Agile hacks, like Scrum of Scrums for coordination or advanced retros for burnout prevention
- PMP/Agile hybrid background for matrix organizations
