1. Responsibilities
2. Administration of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and any other databases throughout the development and production lifecycles in the Waltz environment
3. Design and develop, logical and physical database designs from customer requirements
4. Collaborate and provide best practice guidance to the development team
5. Provide guidance as well as participate in the creation, modification, and implementation of database standards and procedures
6. Create documentation of the database environment
7. Collaborate with other DBAs and infrastructure team members to develop database deployment pipelines
8. Accountability

Application/Infrastructure Architect

1. Responsibilities
2. Understand and design applications using appropriate, relevant, cost-effective technologies
3. Keeps up to date with relevant technologies enabling better application design
4. Ensures clear communication of design to all teams
5. Partners with the onshore Infra architect, Application architect, database architect, as well as product owners
6. Documents designs thoroughly
7. Accountability
