Your Narrative at the Firm
Data isn't just a storage problem; it's a performance and intelligence problem. As our Senior Database Engineer, you won't just be maintaining databases. You will be the architect of a cloud-native ecosystem where AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake collide to create a high-frequency data lakehouse.

The Technical Craft (What You'll Actually Do):-3. The AI/ML Frontier
- Modern Architecture & The Lakehouse
- You will lead the evolution of our Medallion Architecture. Imagine taking raw, chaotic data and refining it through the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers until it's AI-ready. You'll manage schema evolution and data versioning like a pro, ensuring our multi-environment deployments are seamless.
- Automating the World (IaC & CI/CD)
- We don't do manual provisioning. You will use Terraform to build infrastructure as code and integrate data platforms into our CI/CD pipelines. If it can be scripted in Python or automated via APIs, you'll be the one to do it.
- You aren't just supporting Data Scientists; you are building their foundation. You will engineer the ML Feature Stores and training datasets that power our predictive models. You'll apply AI to the database itselfthink automated query optimization and intelligent anomaly detection.
Your Blueprint for Success
- The Experience: 7+ years in the trenches of Data or Database Engineering. You've seen things break at scale, and you know how to fix them.
- The Stack: Snowflake & PostgreSQL: You know these inside outperformance tuning, cost management, and security.
- Modern ELT: You are a fan of dbt and event-driven ingestion.
- Infrastructure: You treat infrastructure like software (Terraform is your go-to).
- The Mindset: You believe in Observability. You don't just want the pipeline to run; you want to see exactly how it's performing at every millisecond.

- Month 1: Deep dive into our Snowflake and RDS environments. You'll be the fresh set of eyes we need to spot optimization gaps.
- Month 2: Partnering with DevOps to refine our automated provisioning workflows.
