Job Description
- Database Developer Responsibilities:
- Should be an expert in PL SQL (MS SQL Server 2012+)
- Maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing database objects and optimizing as per needs.
- Expert in data modelling techniques
- Assisting product development teams in designing database.
- Optimizethedata storage capacity of thedatabase across environments.
- Experience with SSIS package development.
- Experience with SSRS reports development.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Performing debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflicts.
- Mentoring database administrators and providing them with technical support.
- Adhering to best practices in securely storing, backing up, and archiving data.
- Monitoring & reporting processes related to database design, configuration, and performance throughputs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors or master's in computer science, EE, ECE or related discipline preferred
- A minimum 6 years of recent experience in database engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of PL SQL.
- Hands on experience on SQL Server 2012 +
- Extensive experience with database technologies and architecture.
- Sound knowledge of best practices in database engineering and data security.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
- Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
