Database Engineer /DBA - Cassandra, Elastic Search, MariaDB, AWS

The Database Engineer is responsible for the enterprise-wide administration of the Cassandra, and Elastic Search database Infrastructure. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is necessary

• g.Troubleshoot various issues with another dba's/developer

• y.Identifies potential security issues and recommends strategies to ensure database securit
• y.Proactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constrain
• tsEstablish standards and best practices for database implementation and operatio
• n.Perform database backup and recover
• y.Provides 24x7 support for enterprise database system

• d:4+ years hands-on DBA experience with Cassandra or other big database technologi
• esStrong experience with Linux is required, including command line editors, scripting (shell, Python, Perl, etc

• h.Experience in database and cross platform upgrades require
• d.Must have knowledge of network connectivit
• y.Knowledge of ServiceNow, or similar Ticket Management Softwa
