Job Title: Power BI & Tableau Developer/

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Shift: Night Shift (Must overlap with Onshore Team)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI & Tableau Developer with strong SQL expertise and excellent communication skills to support enterprise-level reporting and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports, transforming complex data into meaningful insights for business stakeholders.

This role requires working night shifts to align with global/onshore teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments including business, IT, and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau

Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources

Develop data models, calculated fields, DAX measures, and advanced visualizations

Optimize dashboard performance and ensure high usability standards

Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions

Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage data access controls

Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights

Conduct UAT sessions and provide post-deployment support

Maintain documentation for dashboards, reports, and data models

Troubleshoot and resolve data or reporting issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

5+ years of experience in BI/Reporting development

Strong hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Power BI

Tableau

Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, CTEs, stored procedures, performance tuning)

Experience in data modeling and ETL concepts

Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), Tableau LOD expressions

Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote/night-shift environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.)

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Exposure to Python or R for data analysis

Prior experience supporting global teams
